14 monitor setup

I'm aware that the original poster already has his hardware, but, for anyone else who thinks they'd benefit from that many pixels, you might want to consider the cheap 3840x2160 @ 30Hz televisions. Each of these displays has four times as many pixels as a 1920x1080 display. I made a more detailed post on this topic at
http://www.elitetrader.com/vb/showthread.php?s=&postid=3851511#post3851511 .

I just got the little displays, I ran into the problem with my bigger displays that it was hard to see the charts resized down to fit multiple charts on one screen. I like the individual displays per chart better, but it depends I guess on how many charts you run per display. Also, pixels per square inch I think goes up on the smaller displays, so you can fit more pixels in a given desk area with the littler monitors. Four of them are only $520 bucks, so a lot of pixels for the money I think.

Looking Good. You have a knack for the technical, no? Why not be the first one on your block to apply some imagination to integrate a mouse/ keyboard supplemental platform control interface device? "In addition to smartphone or smartwatch control, users can operate their various devices by simply gesturing at the Spheramid gateway. With a few hand swipes, you can check things like how much energy you've used, or turn the heating, lighting or sound system up or down." http://www.gizmag.com/ninja-sphere-hub-internet-of-things/30240/

"...Gesture recognition can be seen as a way for computers to begin to understand human body language, thus building a richer bridge between machines and humans than primitive text user interfaces or even GUIs (graphical user interfaces), which still limit the majority of input to keyboard and mouse." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gesture_recognition

Well, after having this setup a few days I have to admit having each monitor tilted toward the chair really got oppressive. It felt messy. I tilted them all straight so they are all edge to edge and even. Looks a lot better now. For anyone with a lot of monitors I recommend this. Viewing angle may not be as good, but it feels better.

Different philosophies. I like all mine radiated toward my eyes in a bullet shape (like solar reflectors). :) I am more after the function, not the look.

No I don't iron my workout T-shirts. ;)

For anyone reading this thread, I got them on ebay. Just search "Triple LCD Monitor Desk Stand". They were 85.89 each shipped.

Be aware the third monitor on the top is a bit hard to see, if you have the space to expand horizontally I'd stick with two high. But if you want a nice tall wall of monitors, this one does the trick. :D
