Just once. In February. Presidents Day + Daytona 500 weekend. Traffic snarls everywhere... already 90 degrees, 90% humidity. Now THAT was fun!!!

2 1/2 weeks ago gave one night notice to the Omni Orlando(look it up, 4 stars) and received a suite for 200 a night. clearly they are slow down there. of course all the hotel items for purchase (ie:food) were not discounted for sure.

travel deals like this are all over the place. i usually just look for airlines, not hotels. 3 weeks ago i found round trip tickets from detroit to miami for $19, detroit to vegas $38 and Detroit to Washington DC $42.
