Yesterday I heard some tv pundit say: "There are 5,000 airports in the U.S and the IG's report asks us to believe that Bill Clinton and Loretta Lynch just accidentally bumped into each other" a few days before the decision to prosecute her was announced.

Let the games begin. Can't tell if he has something to say for himself or just making a desperate attempt to hold on to his job or if he is ultimately trying to shake someone down for immunity in exchange for further testimony on other bad actors.

As I have said about McCabe, just because he is a weasel doesnt mean that Comey and Rosenswamp are not trying to pile on to him with their own stuff. Both Comey and Rosenswamp would like McCabe and Strzok and a couple others below them to be the sacrificial lambs and contain it before it reaches them.
Also, if he shows up I dont think there are any rules that they can only ask about the IG report and hillary's investigation. They hopefully will lean into him hard on the dossier and flynn issues as well.

As previously discussed, I am all in favor of him showing up at the hearing and having at it if he has anything to say in his defense. He referred to an insurance plan or whatever discussed "in the meeting with Andy" but Andy told the IG he was never in a meeting where they discussed anything like that. I have no idea what the right anwer is but I am willing to watch them cannibalize each other. Actually, I believe Strzok because he was reminding Lisa of the meeting with Andy in a text message which he had no reason to believe would be exposed.
Same with McCabe. He wants to defend himself on the leaking charge and alleges that Comey lied through his arse when he told Congress that he never authorized anyone to give that info to the press.
Fine. I will watch. When you have an office filled with liars, who am I to say who the biggest liar is. I know the biggest weasel is Rod Rosenstein though and although he is big liar too, he works things in other ways as well.
Strzok's attorney says that Strzok still wants to hold on to his job. Man, that is going to involve some dancing and bullshitting right there and the committee will take him into all the dossier stuff- which he knows ALL about- even though Rosenstein has been working overtime to conceal it.
Man, it is going to be beautiful. How the hell did we get so lucky? Too good to be true. He will probably chicken out and plead the fifth at the last minute. Heh, who the hell knows.
