Fleeing a ruthless country where their lives are in mortal danger.
Then showing up at the U.S. border proudly flying the flag of the aforementioned country.
What's wrong with that picture class?
Nothing conveys the emotion of wanting to be accepted and the desire to assimilate more than waving foreign flags at a potential host country's border.
Dude, you gotta stop viewing everything through your own lens. that fella may want to come to the US cause he knows that he can provide a better life for his family. he knows that he has to deal with biased folks like you but still wants to come here cause the racists here are still 100 folds better than the killers in his country. he may show the flag cause he is scared and tries to have a sense of belonging with a buncha other folks there.
Also if you read the article, you will see that the pictures were taken in Mexico and not at our border. majority of the people take pride in their heritage and that doesn't mean they don't love their country. not everything is absolute.
