100 days in, Howard Stern was 100% right about Donald Trump

It's his mental disorder. It makes his situation far worse than if he was merely unsuited to handle the job, which he is of course. He is being candid and honest when he says he really thought that being President would be easy, just as he really did believe Obama was born in Kenya.

He's a man who's never had to be accountable until now. From the time he was a problem child in school, up to the time he became President he hasn't had to be accountable. His family's, and now his, money and attorneys have shielded him.

But now he is in the worst jam of his life. There is no exit for him that can preserve his ego. He can't get out of the mess he's in by having an attorney send a threatening letter to CNN or MSNBC; by settling out of court. His ego has wrecked his happy life. He is suddenly accountable for everything, good/ bad, it doesn't matter, and regardless of whether he had anything to do with it. He's accountable and there is no exit for him. He can't get on the green helicopter and go home. His mental state will not permit. The people around him, aware as they must be of his narcissism, might have wanted to protect him, but the nature of the disorder makes that impossible. Sad.
