$100,000,000,000,000,000 In three months

Interesting question. Suppose you started with $10,000. Suppose you took on trades that had 8:1 return and you risked 5% of your account/trade and that your hit/miss ratio was 65-70%. If you did 4-5 trades a week (@50:1 leverage) you would double your account in that time if the figures hold. Suppose also your trading in currencies so that slippage/fills are not a big issue. After a month your now $160,000 (compounded doubling every week). After 2 months - about 2 mill. after 5 months - 8 billion. By now your running into some serious practical realities (even if it's eur/usd that your trading in) as your order/trade is like 1 billion+ - doable but not at the same rate. So you will double at say every month instead of week. So after a year of starting with $10,000.......1 trillion$. Going from $100 billion + is going ot be hard though - your going to have to be hooked up to every single platform in existance as well as trading all the majors and crosses + indexes etc. to be able to get DAILY fills in the tens of billions, and that would cause some serious liquidity issues in the market. Perhaps you would need an extra year or two to achieve a trillion in net worth. A gazillion?? oi - now that is something else ....

Now, your talking about some riduculous figure - i'm being more practical here but it is doable. Question is; do you have the b***s to keep doubling every week after you reach a certain personal milestone - or do you go into "semi-retirement" and start risking .25% of the account instead of 5%?

10 quadrillion is pretty pathethic by ET daytrader standards.

I normally do over 10 times that per quarter, and as i always withdraw my
profits at the end, bringing my account back to the $1 starting figure.

My FX opening range breakout system traded over 100 currency pairs easily does 100% a day,
compounding this over 60 days:

As we all know FX is most liquid market there is and can easily handle 60 days of 100% compounding.

What leverage do you use..and I will need to see your statement...otherwise this is just not believable...

Leverage is not required, 1:1 is all you need, this is all done by the magic of compouding.
