Don,
I appreciate the support, but the fact is that this system is NOT tested beyond a few weeks.
And, the success I have seen may only be a fluke.
And, I have only been looking at stock charts for about 3 months, total.
So, I am VERY green, and it is/was very arrogant of me to post.
And, maybe I have no business on this site...
... at least not until I can PROVE that returns in the 900% per year range are possible with this system.
On the other hand ...
I posted all of the picks that I made today, and it would be a shame to start a test and not follow it through (even if I was wrong to start it).
So, let me tell you about today's picks.
Many are Semiconductors and some of the press are saying that semiconductors are currently overbought. But, my indicators say that semiconductors will "rest" a little, then take off. (If I was using real money, I would wait for the "rest" to be nearly over, then get in.)
To improve test accuracy, I did try to pick a few from other sectors.
Over the next few weeks I/we get to see if my indicators/system is right or if the press is right. And, I get to have my ego handed to me for every pick that is wrong (which I am sure some are).
Plus, I am shooting for an average of 10% or greater on these picks. So, we also get to see how well this system does at finding big movers.
Personally, I am 100% sold on the fact that this system finds big movers, before the big move. But, I am only 60% sold on the idea that it will also accurately point out the direction of the move.
One other thing I still have to figure out, is how to not have to sit in the stock so many days/weeks before the move?
So, to summarize the test in this journal:
1. What percentage of these picks move in the correct direction, keeping in mind that all current picks are long?
2. What percentage of picks move 10% or greater?
3. What is the average percentage move?
4. Taking time in the position into consideration, what is the average dailly return when using this pick system?
(vhehn, Newbees spend LOTS of money with this site's advertisers. So, why don't you ask the admins/site owner's if they would like you keeping this site only for the old pros.)
