10 shares?? Why?

I just saw someone buy 10 shares of GE for 9.84.

Why would you buy only 10 shares, just the commission makes it a dumb idea. Aint worth the effort.

when? premarkt\after regular hours? there is could be number of reasons..i recieve partial fills all the time...tens of them each day..you place an order to buy 100, got 1..what can you do?
