I agree on UK clothing is top quality. However you can find many others, which are of equal value. For example French Loding makes superb shirts from egyptian cotton, shoes from leather same as Weston.
Kiton, Loro Piana, Etro: these are all Italian fashion houses.

The whole idea of settling down in one place is not really resonating with me...
isn't better to travel constantly, esp. when you have less and less time in your life?
