Before yapping about raising the minimum wage, maybe look at some facts, like it's only 1% of the work force, most are high school and college kids, most work less than 30 hours a week, etc. Sorry for using facts...

I went to the grocery store tonight and the girl who carried out my groceries visited a while. She mentioned Obama wanting to raise the minimum wage and was hoping he was successful. We started talking because of the veggies I was buying and she said she likes to make smoothies too but couldn't afford them, she liked them but her husband and daughter didn't and she couldn't buy extra just for herself. She was 25 has a child works two jobs and her husband works as a cook at a restaurant. Not a statistic but a real person I talked to tonight.

He's probably right. To win elections now, the Repubs have to "out DemoCrap the DemoCraps"... that is, they have to give away more freebies/benefits than the Dems. Not good for our future.
