Lately been experiencing screen burn, I love trading tick charts, but the focus is intense. After I hit average daily pnl I get the urge to stop. Even though the sentiment is evident.
You apparently didn't notice I said "proper trading"... which always has and always will work... across all markets. If what was "taught" stops working, it wasn't proper trading to begin with.
You're correct about becoming an expert trader taking years of experience. Need not be that way, however.

Well, yeah. But everybody already knows, "buy low, sell high" and "buy high, sell higher", etc.
It's not just trading information but there is a psychological change that is required and takes "10,000 hours" to complete before you acheive mastery.
I highly doubt he has anything that is even close to a "holy grail". Half of his comments are dumb. The other half are cliche any fool can shout out of his mouth. His idea of a holy grail is probably to buy every time the market dips.
You need to have pen and paper too. And a brain of course. Who said that watching a screen for 10,000 hours makes you a great trader?
