1 dead, 2 injured in stabbing at Spring H.S. - Will Congress Legislate Knife Ban Too?

One person was fatally stabbed and two others were injured Wednesday morning at Spring High School.

The stabbing happened about 7 a.m. on the campus at 19428 North Freeway, according to the Harris County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies said one person died at the scene and two others were flown by LifeFlight medical helicopter to Memorial Hermann-The Texas Medical Center. No information was available about the injured people's conditions.

Officials said all the victims were students. A suspect may be on the loose and deputies are searching for him. They know who he is.

Officials with Spring Independent School District said they so far cannot confirm any information about the incident.

Deputies said no other details were immediately available about the incident.

Actually, you're almost as likely to get hit by lightning sitting in a movie theater or a school as you are anywhere else because the odds are so close to zero under any circumstances.

Trying to control one-in-a-million individual human behavior events is a waste of time and effort. Be aware of your surroundings and get on with your life.
