It shows things arent getting any better, infact they are getting worse.

One of Bidens first moves was to reverse Trump's transgender ban in the military.

That is an indication of the kind of thing the current US commander in chief thinks is important these days.

In meantime the Chinese are focusing on making men more masculine.

I know why he did it, to cater to the big money Hollywood crowd. But, I was in the Army. And there were specific regulations that said if you had a sex change operation, you were DQ. And if you were on any kind of medication, you were DQ. So, how can someone be a transgendered and be qualified? Does this mean you can't go to combat or be deployed overseas?

And the Army / DOD won't pay for unnecessary medical procedures, so I assume that that would include sex change operations.

But, if they do that, does that mean that everyone qualifies for BOTOX injections to have a smoother more feminine appearance? Or, breast implants, or testosterone injections?

If a dude decides he wants to be a woman and he is deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan, and he can't get his estrogen injections, is he returned to the states; or is his/her chain of command going to be liable for his identity crisis?

I am sure that there is more to the story, but it doesn't matter.
The AF is already developing the next generation jet fighter, that has SOME stealth characteristics, but it will not be regarded as a genuine stealth fighter and it would be much cheaper to buy and maintain.

Yep that's a serious issue affecting all countries do gooders with no real idea.

I doubt it's effecting the Russian or Chinese military.

Russia has 145MN people.

Russia has a lot of successful experience in military affairs and espionage. Tools necessary to subjugate foreign countries. And they are well educated.

China has a lot of ambitious people, and they are not deterred by silly things like pollution. And the young people are ambitious and quite patriotic. They have been told since birth, that the 21st century belongs to them and that the world is theirs.

Russia needs China because they cannot compete against the West economically, and they can't beat the U.S. militarily.

China needs Russia for their expertise in technology and foreign affairs. They also need Russia's farmland. Russia is huge, their territory covers 11 time zones, almost half the world.
China is quite large, but only 10 percent of their land is suitable for agriculture. And much of their rivers and streams are contaminated.

China plays the long game. Russia is a useful idiot to China. But Russia's population is declining. It might even be as low as 110MN by 2050. China will play friendly with Russia as long as they are useful, and when Russia trips up like they did when it imploded in 1992, China will either purchase Eastern Russia/Siberia from the Russians or they will simply take it from them. China will need the land to feed their population that keeps growing every year.

And Russia won't be able to do anything about it. If Russia sides with China, they are choosing the wrong team.
