This will likely reduce liquidity and have ETF even more clogged up, consequently have the market become even more of a bingo casino then it already is. Won't change shit, it's literally a Tax, it won't change manipulation... Spoofing is always cancelled before execution, so they won't be taxed for manipulation

WELL NY,NY is known for HIGH taxes;
+ NYT is known for stupid stuff. BUT a tax cutter like Pres Trump most likely would veto it. NY is losing so many people to low tax states, I doubt if it would ever pass. I don't do much daytrading + I AM still against it...……………………………………………………………………………….

Yeah 10 basis points on $10K ($10) sounds like "bfd... that's nothing" to the average Joe out there. "Go for it."

But if I open and close a total of (4) 100 share positions of TSLA in the course of a day.... $80K each.... that's $320.

Leave the individual day-traders out please.
