1/4% Tax on all stock trades pushed in NY Times today

Oh Canada, the hardest of hit nations in the world, I see why these people are mad!

Adbusters is calling for a global protest on Oct. 29 ahead of the G20 in France in early November to demand a 1 percent tax on all financial transactions and currency trades.

“Hopefully it will be kind of a global people’s moment to demand the one thing, and we’re hoping that that one thing will be something like a transaction tax, or a Tobin tax, or Robin Hood tax on the financial flows,” says White

Literally mad, but hey at least they have three different things in mind! How stupid do you have to be to believe they are three different things?

Its coming to London to, the police wont mess around there after the riots.

A one percent Robin Hood tax on all financial transactions and currency trades would slow down fast money, and it will have a major impetus on the global economy," said Lasn.

The Adbusters Media Foundation describes itself [2] as a non-profit “anti-consumerist” organization that functions as “a global network of artists, activists, writers, pranksters, students, educators and entrepreneurs who want to advance the new social activist movement of the information age.”

Like many so-called leftist non-profits, Adbusters is a creature of globalist foundations. According to research conducted by Activistcash.com [3], Adbusters takes money from a number of supposedly progressive foundations, including the big Kahuna of leftish foundations – the Tides Foundation and Tides Center. Between 1996 and 2003, Tides doled out $334,217.00 to Adbusters, by far the largest amount of eight foundations donating.
Steve Baldwin [4] claims Tides received over $7 million from George Soros.

Anyone read the New York Times this morning? Front page top of the fold: "Clamping Down On Rapid Trades In Stock Market"
Scary article....

I expect that day in 1029, there will be a global march, people will participate in 11 in France the heads of the G20 summit to convey their aspirations. By then, I hope they can put forward a clear requirement that all financial transactions tax. We hope that the G20 summit to do something to reduce the frequency of financial transactions, financial transactions will be tax levy to be used in place of some more practical, rather than on the global “Big Casino” on.

“To get at the root of the problem, one should be protesting, say, in London’s City where central banking originated. Or protesting in front of the Federal Reserve in Washington DC. These are real seats of power. But the shadowy and excessively powerful and wealthy individuals who have created the modern economic system are quite satisfied no doubt to have Wall Street take the blame. It suits their purposes,” writes Wile.
“It is too bad that the Occupy Wall Street movement seems to be obscuring the larger issues by apparently blaming the private (transactional) sector in entirety for what has occurred in the past few years.
