This tax is a horrible idea! It would ruin me and a lot of other people I know! The tax wouldn't even solve anything! It would make us all lose our jobs and reduce the liquidity in commodities markets. I sure would like it if politicians actually did research when they decide to propose a new law. It is my firm opinion that if it doesn't concern their reelection they have no idea what they're talking about.
It will destroy tons of people, firms closing, liquidity and spreads back to the 80-'s-90's.
The good thing is the Europe is intent on destroying themselves...let them pass it and they will be shitting bricks when their markets grind to a halt and they get less revenue than before.

For example....I bet the vast majority in that poll (51% of public support a ftt) just listen like drones to these socialistic politicians. Taxing trades does not hurt the banks they claim they are after...all that cost is passed back down to the little guys anyways. But they hear the spew that comes out of the mouths and just go along with it, not understand the destruction this does to free markets....then again, that is what liberal's want anyways...another scary thought.

Does anyone know how to find out if this issue is actually on the agenda for this weekend's g20 meeting, or does that info not come out until after the meeting? I looked at g20 website, but didn't see anything.
I completely disagree with this tax and it should be tossed.
