WOW thats pretty impressive and a great start especially with the dems! I am actually liking that, they actually get it!

All of the House members quoted in this article are from New York and Illinois. Go figure!!! lol It's nice to see some Democrats starting to come out against this.

Remember generally the ones who want this tax are as what Mr. Green from Green Tax trader said, NIMBY- NOT IN MY BACKYARD, Defazo-Oregon, Perlmutter -Colorado, Clyburn -South Carolina.

Hey any dem in the house helps, lets see who else signs the letter if we can somehow follow it or email politico to follow up. Carolyn Maloney is the chair of the panel Joint Economic commitee that was on tv the other day where Geithner was getting grilled, she is the one who yelled to Brady that his time is expired when he kept yelling at Geithner to resign. I believe this is a big step for us, becuase finally Dems are coming out against their own, and just look at the committees that Maloney is on:

Committee on Financial Services
Subcommittee on Capital Markets, Insurance, and Government-Sponsored Enterprises
Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit
Subcommittee on Domestic Monetary Policy and Technology

That definitely bodes well for us. Most House Dems. know that Defazio is a load that should have been swallowed, and there's no way such a ridiculous tax would get passed.

Mike McMahon another dem opposed to the tax is also on the Transportation and Infastructure committee which helps because thats another area they were looking for this tax.
