You are incorrect. It takes 60 votes to break a filibuster.
Great job to everyone on the comments added at the NY Times site in reaction to that op ed piece.
Your simply talking about the number of votes required in an attempt to delay or kill legislation from being voted on.
Again, if the Senate were to take up a full vote on making this piece of legislation law, it would require 68 yes votes for it to happen! I come from a political background, and obviously know what I'm talking about, unlike yourself!!!

Take it seriously. This is the first time DEMS have had a monopoly control over government since 1994. Get on every Congressman you can to kill this bill.
