$1,000,000 in 3 Months

this applied to all lying posts about how easy it is to make money...

i don't get this.

why most traders are liars; lying too much about how easy profit they can make & no one dares to reveal how much they lost or how hard it is to even survive.

if its that easy to make money in daytrading, why warren buffett is the wealthiest investor of all times but not even one daytrader.


i am sick & tired of lying posts on this forum about how easy daytraders can make money.

There is a difference between SIMPLE and EASY.

Lifting a weight is simple.

Lifting 10 lbs is easy.

Lifting 100 lbs is harder.

Lifting 500 lbs is impossible for most.
 
A world class commodity trader took 30,000 to a quarter million in about 6 months. He has gone on to international stature. His name is David Bowden.

He worked HIS ASS OFF to make that amount originally. Previously he had made a huge amount in real estate.

I have heard of someone who took 300,00 to 3 Million in a very short time....then lost it all. I believe there was a book called "How I made a million in one year". Fellow lost it all next year.

I dont think that there are so many liars posting but rather do people only/mostly post their profits and dont mention their losses. That is not a lie so you shouldnt judge it that hard. Pretty normal for people who use the board just to present themselves as somone/something they would like to be but are not in reality. Some dont even realize it or dont want to admit it and some are just fighting reality because of the same reason why you posted that and thats being frustrated and disgruntled. The point here and that is much more important is that you are not doing it by yourself because you will never make it as a trader when you lie. You need to be sharp and focussed, there is no place for lies. If you are not 100% clear with yourself there is no way to succeed and this applies not only to trading.

When I stopped being concerned with what others were trading, what indicators/systems they were using, and how much they were making, is when I started down the success path.

In other words, I am only concerned about my trade, my system, my portfolio AND do not care what others are doing and making. I am too busy minding my own business to have time to mind someone else's.

Tums,tums,tums...an amazing post...why in the world are you, a MODERATOR, asking the rest of ET this question??I thought the mods are the experts and we should be coming to you??Is it not now appropriate that you give up your moderator status?what does anyone think??...PS...I do think this is a great goal and believe you can do it...one challenge with CME FX futures will be volume and liquidity...maybe should only trade ES or CL...really should only trade Forex...
