OP doesn't say anything about what option it is, he doesn't say how far OTM it is... so it can be 30% out where obviously anyone would sell for 0.65 but nobody buy for even 0.01...

If a quote is 0@0.60 it doesn't mean fair value is at the midpoint... could be anything really... anything from 0 to 0.60

@stockmarketbeginner should give the full details. Him/her being a beginner... I also don't know if his idea of slightly OTM is correct.... Chinese whispers this way......

I don't know why OPs asking questions won't share the ticker. They think they are giving away some secret by doing so. And in the meantime everyone who can answer the question spends many posts speculating on the specific situation.

If he shared the ticker, the question would be answered in 10 seconds. Instead he's wasting the time of many well intentioned posters. It's quite rude.
