Do not go to interactive brokers for futures. They are the worst along with Transact. There are many companies out there that are better. I trade on zen fire at Dorman. I also have an account at Penson on TT. I have an account with Calyon as well.

they charge fees like this all the time. When I traded there years ago they had a globex fee of 2.50 per side. There was never such a fee. It is made up. I do not trade with them anymore but maybe they did add these"trans fees" to make up for the 141 million there idiot trader lost.
