shorted iyr, rcl. Didnt take csx because of gap down. Still keeping my eye out for shorts on list if they take out previous days low. no long setups.

Here are some more shorts I will be adding to the list.. again looking for todays low to be broken in order for me to enter. Shorts: aapl, csx, rcl Still no long setups.

No entries today because lows were not taken out in AM. For tomorrow I am looking at the same stocks from yesterday and want to see todays low broken prior to entry.

short setups: gs, eog, aci, cat, amp, iyr i will look to short them once they break previous days low tomorrow morning. no longs.

I filter all stocks over $5 and atleast 2mil avg daily volume. I also trade options sometimes ( mostly buy puts). My account size is $22k right now.. and i typically enter between $5-10k position.. depending on market environment and correlation of stocks. I use tc2000 and IB as broker.

CC has very little debt.. tons of cash. They are not going bankrupt anytime soon. They just need to find a way to stop losing money and make a few bucks. Fyi, they are also paying a dividend.

I'll add.. CHS, NWY, JAS as some more retail turnaround plays. All have good balance sheets, make money are priced for bankruptcy. RAD is also a great play... excellent US brand name... very stable biz and tremendous revenue.. over $20bil. Only downside is that they have debt, but I think...

My Fav. turnaround play is AMD.. i think it will make a huge comeback in 2009. They will figure out a way to make ati work with their cpus.. and will be a huge success. I am a big believer of cpu + gpu combo chip.

RAD is another good example, but they have huge debt. Atleast they have new mgmt and much more stable biz. CC & RAD are good 2-5 year turn around plays. Both will not be going bk.. and they have well known US company brand names.

Wall st. has no faith in current ceo and mgmt team. They need a cost cutter ceo to revamp the biz model. Its all doable and has been done before.. but this Phil guy has a terrible track record thus far.

They need new mgmt, close all nonperforming stores... and incentives for employees... stock will be back to $20.. if this happens. Company does over $10bil in sales a year.. there must be a way for them stop losing money. They have a ton of cash on very little debt. New mgmt team will figure...
