Subprime Fiasco Exposes Manipulation by Mortgage Brokerages

I have been saying the same thing....and I also don\'t think we should be bailing them out. They should have to pay each penny off themselves. Guess what? My kids who are grown up rent, and live frugally and are working on their careers and saving so that they can be financially independent and...

    Visial USD/CAD this year

yes, the USD/CAD is strongly correlated with oil prices, that is what I would go by although only when oil is making news for either going extremely high or low...that happened last summer and the CAD definitely strengthened...they export 90% of their oil to the US so just through physical...

    Daily EUR/USD trades

Yeah, plus I would prefer to profit on the market as a whole than just off one stock...one bad blurb from a board member and you're stuck....I'm still in my trade btw. Right now I'm down a little but I think I'll be able to clsoe out with a profit...good thing is I am still earning carry $50 so far

Fantastic Quote From Cnbc Just Now

Haha, yes their egos get in the way...for some reason people are just incapable of taking profits and sometimes just getting out of the market while you are ahead...if you make an extra 3% profit you most of the time just go lucky

    Daily EUR/USD trades

Ok, so you\'re a majors kinda guy. The certainly move the most. I like to experiment. Depends on what is happening in the market. I tend to read a lot about different currencies and have found a couple of analysts I think have a good grasp of what is happening so sometimes I look into a pair...

    Daily EUR/USD trades

I\'ve had a good experience with them so far. Their spreads are actually fine, in my view. Down to 2 pips on EUR/USD if the market is liquid. I don\'t know about IBs spreads but I have always been suspicious of brokers offering anything below 2 pips as the banks offer the brokers 1 pips spreads...

How to form a portfolio of foreign currency

Although I trade fx, another thing I just invested in is the BRIC Note offered by Citi Group (I have an account with Smith Barney). The closing for it was today but it was the single most popular offering of that kind that they have had so I think there will be a secondary market available. The...

    Daily EUR/USD trades

I shorted the EURO a few days ago at 1.3450, have earned $10.20 in interest and am still waiting for it to move down further. Judging by the daily chart I think it will continue down...I am hoping about 100pips. Any thoughts?

    Iraqi Dinar CME Globex-SERIOUS QUESTION

I would avoid the Iraqi Dinar at all cost...it is highly illiquid, the country is ravaged by civil war and currently US Dollars get you further as that is primarily what they use for monetary transactions. I believe that a currency is only as strong as its economy and in Iraq even if we find the...

    MBA US vs Asia

    Should Greenspan just STFU?

Whether or not you agree with his opinion, he has decades of experience and at his age should be considered a wise man. Not that he will always be right but his experience does at least make him a point of view to consider.

    Daily EUR/USD trades

1.40 seems pretty unrealistic...don't you think the Europeans would be screaming about their exports at that point?

    Daily EUR/USD trades

I placed a trade yesterday to short at 1.3468. Looking to ride it down to 1.3370 and take profits then reevaluate whether it will retrace or continue going down.

need your suggestions of these 2 brokers

I would check out whether they are regulated here in the US...personally never heard of them. If they are regualted, you will be able to view their net excess capital online. I would suggest you do that. Anyone with less than $30 million is not worht going with, it means they can't possibly have...

Edwards charges $55,000 to speak to UC Davis students about poverty

Not sure why you're so angry LT701 - both of you have decent points..it is not a black or white issue but very, very grey. No, not everyone shouldbe given amnesty. There are plenty that deserve it and don't get it and vice versa. The again, who said life was fair? So, the best thing to do is...
