I actually was gonna do my taxes by myself using turbo tax. I have the home and business edition. How do I import that information?

I see how it works. I think that answers just about all of my questions except one. Should I make a copy of my nonreportable 1099 to send to the IRS since they do not have that information or do they have a way of getting it?

Would that go the same for gains also? What if you lost the first time, then rebought options or stock in the same company and lost again within 60 days? Would you only count the second loss or would you not be able to count anything at all? Thanks.

I've been using Scottrade. I have not heard of this schedule D software that you speak of. What is some of it called?

My broker does that also. That is what I meant by not reported. I'm sorry if I didn't make that clear.

What about options that expire? I have some that expired. I am not too familiar with what a wash sale it. Iwill look it up. Thank you.

Do many of you use tradestation? I have been looking into that as well. I see that many people use it and are pretty satisfied. Is it pretty user friendly? I am not a computer programmer nor am I familiar with complex or simple computer languages.

Hi, I am looking to find a copy of VantagePoint 7.0 to try out. I have been interested in the program for a while but am reluctant to buy it. The only "free trial" that they offer is to pay for the program up front, use it for 15 days and then return it if not satisfied. I have 2 problems...
