What's is an attractive or more importantly an unattractive drawdown? Is it solely based of the %return of the system...or is there a drawdown point of say....50% that wouldn't even make sense for a very high risk/reward system?

Anybody have a link or document the details the increase of margin for emini s&p futures over the past 20 years? I have searched everywhere, even emailed the CME and have received no response.

If I hold one emini s&p long overnight and I purchase a put 20 points OTM that costs me 1050 USD, and my total risk is at 1000USD, will the clearing firm let me hold less than 3500 USD for the margin? Or am I still obligated to hold the 3500 USD on Margin?

The smaller spread is the 35 put. If you think the stock will go below 30-cost of option before expiration I would purchase the 30 puts, better risk reward....if not I would purchase the 35 puts. Although, if you purchase the 30's you will miss out on all the profit from 32.69 to 30...it...
