options watch list with Delta, possible?

looking for software that can accomplish the following..... view specific options and their delta together in one watch list. I do NOT want to see the whole chain. I want to see individual options from different underlying and view their delta. for example: SPX Jul 1370 call and NDX...

How many ES points does a trader need

yes, commissions MUST be included in everything as they are a business expense. It's like a store owner saying "Well....I was profitable last year if you take out my rent payments" personally, I convert commissions to ES points when logging my results. I count each trade as -.1 ES points...

A new way to think about predictions on the Index Futures!

just checked it out and although there is a video over the weekend I don't see any talk, analysis, or predictions for today (Monday). first glance made it sound like there was a video every night discussing the day and giving thoughts and predictions for the next day. confused

Maximum ES contracts you would trade with $3,800 account

but see the difference was that he had lots of trading experience and it was, as he puts it, a "sidekick account" meaning that even if he lost the whole thing I bet his life would not be altered in any significant way and his trading career would go on.

Maximum ES contracts you would trade with $3,800 account

Increasenow: look at it this way.....you mentioned possibly going 4 contracts on setups you are "sure" of. Let's say you take a 2pt stop loss on that trade. That is $400 plus commish so call it $423. on a $3,800 account you just lost over 10% of your account in 1 trade ?!?!?! What...

Maximum ES contracts you would trade with $3,800 account

let's also not forget that right off the bat, just by trading the ES you are leveraged in at 50-1 in relation to the cash index. That is what draws us in but just keep that in mind. All the extra leverage provided by low intra day margins is ON TOP of the built in 50-1.

Maximum ES contracts you would trade with $3,800 account

I personally do 1 per 5K so with 3,800 I would not be doing anything. to really answer this question though depends on the size of your average stop loss. For me, I do 1.5 ES pts as a stop. If I were taking larger stops then I would adjust accordingly to less leverage and would not be even...

    AAPL slippage

ok, thanks. I figured it was possible at times but just seems like it's ALWAYS happening multiple times a day (according to him) so thought I'd ask since I don't do stocks. Thanks.

    AAPL slippage

I trade futures but have a question for a friend...... he is daytrading AAPL in 100 share lots using TradeStation software and brokerage. On his stop losses (loss or trailing for profit) he keeps telling me he's getting 5-10 cents slippage. this does not seem right to me. Is it? On a...

Seriously, can anybody trade the ES?

I personally trade the ES but have poked around in the past with NQ. The thing I just couldn't get over was the only $20 per point vs ES $50. That made sense during the market peaks of 2000 when the NQ was trading at nearly 3X the ES. However, now it's 1.5X ES. so, right off the bat I feel...

Seriously, can anybody trade the ES?

just curious.......is it the fact that you have to stand in such long lines to get filled at levels and often have to see it tick through on entry and profit target that frustrates people ?

stop market if touched for futures?

2 separate issues in this thread and here are your definitive answers: 1. Yes, you can change Ninja to do a stop market rather than stop limit. Do this in the properties of the dome. This is for exiting orders. 2. For entering orders, Ninja Trader does not currently have MIT order...
