QuoteTracker To Be Finished End of 2011

It will be sad day if Quotetracker is given the same fate as Prophet.net. Anyone who will develop a project that combines the best features of both platforms along with incorporating backtesting and portfolio analysis will blow away anything that is currently available. There is advertising...

Jerry, thank you very much for the patch. I had attempted to port over my QT chart layout to Ninja Trader but QT is by magnitudes a better charting platform for discretionary trading. I appreciate your continued support for QT. Please keep us updated if and when you plan to port the QT...

Interactive Brokers HK server down. hey IB it's nearly 2011 you clowns

Anyone know where I can download TWS version 9.06? The TWS versions 9.11 and 9.12 do not stream data to my front end charts. I've been using a earlier TWS version and with the forced upgrade requirement by IB I completely missed the opportunity to archive the versions in between.

Was anyone here trading in the late 90s?

16 years is a long time, by now I'm sure you have experienced all the types of markets. I work with several long time traders who say their income decreased with experience as they learned to make less trades. I'm curious to know if your trading income has improved with experience in the markets?

Help a newbie with automated trading API programming

I have several profitable strategies that use options, stocks, currencies and index futures. 70% intraday trading and 30% short term daily. I've looked at ET threads on automated programming and it seems many prefer C or C#. I settled for Excel with VBA because my strategies are robust...

Remote Prop Trading for Canadian Traders

I've been trading for several years and prop for about a year. I'm now looking for a reliable prop firm that will let me trade remotely from home in Canada. If needed, I'm willing to put up 5K, but prefer not to. I will eventually need 500K BP to run my stock trading strategy successfully. The...

How does one go about picking stocks like these? my father - who only understands the basics of investing - outperformed him by holding and buying only one stock during the decade - GE (my father worked for GE and it was his primary investment - it compounded at about 28% over the 1990s)...

Down But Not Out, Looking for Backing

I was in a similar position. Instead of trading remote alone and prolonging the learning curve, I moved and joined Swift Trading.
