    Option house or trade monster?

I'm switching from IB, this latest glitch in their Option Trader has put me over the edge. So has anyone that trading 500 contracts or more a month used Trade Monster? If so any complaints?

    stockcharts.com

I was wondering if anyone uses these, either the free section or the pay to play? The real time play to play at $29 a month seems cheap. Is it worth it or not. I don't use tick charts, just the daily to 5 minute charts.

Is it time to drop the Canadian energy trusts?

I bailed in August, but got back into them in November when the div. payout was upwards of 20%. Now with the recent cuts they are back under 10% but still a good dividend. I guess my question is will they return to the high teen dividends when the oil prices go up or will the fear of taxation...

    Best Stock Newsletter

Best newsletters, good question. About the only one that I read consistently is Investors Business Daily. If you are talking about the stock pickers and hype, take the mutual fund advice. I don't agree with Cramer often, but on this "Tips are for waiters."

Is it time to drop the Canadian energy trusts?

The cutting of dividends and the slower growth from the threat of corporation taxation. Makes me think that it's time or past time to bail out. What's you opinion?

what do you think of china's future?

Chinas growth is directly proportional to its infrastructure. It's pretty hard transporting todays economy on the back of a bicycle. They are also only one step away from Chairman Mao, and could socialize every foreign investment. These are the 2 biggest road blocks that I see.

Another One Bites The Dust - Resume Help

From a value added resellers view, how up to date are your certificates? Today it's not what you know, it's are you certified. Do you hold a current CNNA or MSCE? Many companies won't even allow you printer repair without an A+ or better. 4 years off could mean you need updates through Cisco...

    Why do you trade options?

Trading 20 or more option positions at once in my opinion would be extremely hard to watch and monitor. Also options tend to move faster than stock. It also violates my trading plan of having to high of a risk. Since I will only risk 2% of my trading account per trade and with options you have...

POLL: Excluding specific members from "contributing" to specific threads

I disagree, it may in sense prevent the disruption of the thread, but it may also censor an open forum. It is disheartening when a post that you have spent your valuable time on composing is trashed, but I believe that this is part of an open forum. Viewing the good, the bad and the ugly. But...

Mike Parnos vs Kevin Kerr vs Bryan Bottarelli

These words of advice are OTM. I was on a free trial with one of these over night millionaire makers during the 20% gap up in RIMM. On their website this was a stock to watch the night before the gap up. They had no buy or entry point, but just a stock to watch. 2 months later in their ad...

    AAPL JAN 07 calls: 80 vs 90

Joel do some reading before you enter the option world. Leverage works both ways. May I suggest anything written by Larry McMillian. His books are of many pages, but he really is the option guru.

What are your thoughts on this system?

To me a good month is 10% to 25% or compounded annually120 to 300% and an so so month is 2 to 10%. A bad month can be as bad as 10% loss or -120 compounded. A killer of a month the worse one I've had so far can be -18% I won't even compound that one. This year I've had 6 good months and 2 bad...

    Sears earnings

Is SHLD is just another Hedge Fund? Or is it a real estate ploy? It sure as heck ain't no retail play. I would stay clear until it can be at least defined. But by then there will probably be nothing left. This has to be one of the riskiest stocks. It just shows the real Cramer integrity...

    The barless system?

What works for you. Sometimes I think we are our own worse enemies. Thinking what others think and making things to complex just to impress. I follow the KISS rules.

Tell me the rules of Trading....

I never said I was great, but I am still in the game. If I'm flexible, it's not with my trading account. I do have other accounts that I invest with, including my IRA. But my trading account is a business. No emotions, just business.

Tell me the rules of Trading....

Some people think that a Day Trader puts in a few Beatles CD's and hops on board his Sopwith Camel, travels the big board buying and selling no holds barred and ends at the end of the day a millionaire. But thats only in the Sunday funnies. I am not sure about anyone else, but for me it's days...

    Trade n Track

I like the simplicity that it works at, but other softwares have more for the stock trader. The Track n Trade was first out for commodities and lacks a few things. I do like the Gann angles and Elliot waves. I have also been trying Swing Tracker as well. Swing tracker is more in tune to stock...
