Hi Traders, Two days ago I learned about Elliot waves and have been drawing legs on very chart I pull up :D; Considering the possibility of having a horizontal triangle as the first corrective mode in an ending diagonal, where would you draw the next sub-waves in the second picture(QMF2022...

this one kept on printing bearish divergences for a good while before breaking the structure. If you were to drop down to the 1min chart to look for an entry for a quick in and out scalp- not necessarily the /QM- would you treat it any differently to the one on the 1h? I know when you're right...

I mostly do swing but this one was a short scalp, first target price was $83.97(+1 Standard deviation on 4h) and if it rejected the zone area would let it go to $83.475(S/R)

Will do. ES and QM are both $12.50/tick but ES is like 4 times more expensive.

Wow, brilliant food for thought, thank you. Initially I picked /QM as its one of the most affordable even though the volume barely exceeds 20k/day. /ES and /GC make my top 3 futures, but the capital inflows and outflows aren't related, at least that's what I assume :)

My timing was off by merely 2 candles, each candle one hour :p If I trade the 1min it would reduce my timing problem by a huge margin, don't you think :D

Gonna keep coming back to this page for a good week, please feel free to leave as many tips as you'd like, I have a lot to learn :)

The ROC is high Thanks a ton Overnight, ROC is also confirming an uptrend. I'm not good at fundamentals, like really bad at it, that's why I'm relying on price action+technical analysis. Any advice on where to start for fundamentals? How do you find good Futures contracts to trade?

this is why I come here, mark ups are much appreciated, actually it's kind of funny how much I've learned so far doing tech analysis then comparing it to experts

I know, thanks for the advice but every time there's an interesting set up, makes me curious what experienced traders think of it more than me profiting form the actual trade. just trying to learn more :)
