Direct routing options - rebates for adding liquidity?

Must admit I'm a bit confused on IB. They actually charge $1 per contract for any direct routed option and then you incur the exchange fee/rebate accordingly.....

Direct routing options - rebates for adding liquidity?

Curious if you get rebates for adding liquidity on options trading similar to stock trading? Which brokers offer rebates? I believe Lightspeed does. Are there any others?

Direct access brokers - Lightspeed, Cobra, Centerpoint....

Hello. Obviously Lightspeed has a presence here on the site and they are well respected. Curious if anyone has any experience with some of the lesser talked about direct access brokers such as Cobra Trading or Centerpoint Securities. Any others (besides IB)? Thanks.

Nasdaq TotalView, NYSE Open Book, ArcaBook - Differences

Understood although Nasdaq Totalview states that it displays "all the buy and sell orders in NASDAQ for securities listed on NASDAQ, the NYSE and the Amex".

Nasdaq TotalView, NYSE Open Book, ArcaBook - Differences

I realize I'm replying to my original thread but I did want to add one comment separate from the original post. From the Nasdaq website: "BookViewer Achieve better trade performance by viewing all the buy and sell orders in NASDAQ for securities listed on NASDAQ, the NYSE and the Amex. Powered...

Nasdaq TotalView, NYSE Open Book, ArcaBook - Differences

I found this thread from 2011 (Original poster Traderham to give credit) in the Execution forum and wanted to move it over to the data feed forum and revive this thread because this is the exact question I have been thinking about. Even though this was from 2011, the question and the details...

NinjaTrader vs MotiveWave vs Investor RT

To clarify, Investor RT does not support options. I thought they did since they have instructions on creating options tables but it doesn't appear that there is any options functionality.

NinjaTrader vs MotiveWave vs Investor RT

Wow!! Thank you. That is fantastic to get some real feedback and I appreciate the time you took to write your thoughts. I think I'm still leaning towards NT. The charting looks excellent and intuitive as well as extensive and as long as some of the frustrations don't affect live trading or...

NinjaTrader vs MotiveWave vs Investor RT

That's actually quite helpful. Thank you. Quick follow-up. Other than the limited brokerages what would you say in your personal opinion are some downfalls of NT that you would improve upon?

NinjaTrader vs MotiveWave vs Investor RT

Thank you for the reply although I don't need options quotes. I'm looking for a trading platform that has options tables. Obviously none of these have anything even approaching options analysis or a true options trading platform but they at least support an options table. I'm okay with...

NinjaTrader vs MotiveWave vs Investor RT

Curious if anyone has any thoughts on these three choices? Of note, I've used and am very familiar with SierraCharts. Great platform but no options tables so I'm going to keep looking. Thanks for any input.

List of data providers - equities and equity options

IB data isn't exactly free. They do charge for data and my understanding is that it is snapshot real time data similar to TOS/TD data. Please correct me if I'm wrong but I pay for data from IB

List of data providers - equities and equity options

Unfortunately it doesn't seem that there are any relatively inexpensive data feeds that support futures, stock and stock options. Not really even any inexpensive data feeds that do stocks and stock options where you can then feed Futures from your broker....

List of data providers - equities and equity options

Curious if there is a list of real time, non snapshot data providers for equity and equity options. Seems there are a lot of options on the Futures side for data but seems like other than IQfeed (which is expensive) there aren't many other options. Other than IQfeed, are there any other...

    Motivewave

Honestly I looks like a great platform. I think that's why I'm surprised it doesn't get more mention and more following. In terms of data handling, speed of execution and overall platform, how does it compare during time of high volume and fast moving markets compared to Sierra, Jigsaw...
