They should both execute immediately. I trade via an API on Nasdaq stocks. I use Tradier and not IB, but do not think that matters

Thanks for sharing. I am not a big fan of the Barrons Survey. No one really cares about this anymore. Therressa Carey who ran this program for Barrons left this and moved on and looks like someone new is not doing it and barrons is hanging on

I have been an IB customer for a while. Just went through it myself. Tiered and fixed pricing depends on what your account volume is and importantly your account size. Also if you do stocks or Options Trading. If you do not want to worry about all this, you should use someone like Tradier...

I have LOL. I do not trust any platform that is free. Lost a lot due to Robinhood app. Got burnt of trying to talk to somebody. I finally gave up. Scary S***. Not sure why startups try to copy a Robinhood model.

If you are looking for a realtime options trading API, then you should look at Tradier or IBKR is also an option. The rest are all very limited and wot. Get access as a developer.

I agree. It has been a downhill story with IBKR for me too. TOS and Tradehawk seem to have better executions.

Not sure if you focus on stocks or options. I use Tradehawk for my options and stockstotrade for stocks

I use the Tradier API to teach. One of the most common project folks to is to build a simple watchlist mobile app. Its fairly simple to do.

I have been searching for an IB forum too. I use the Tradier API now but because of support responses
