I'm hoping BOIL will get some volatility and labor pains and get some serious bullishness. It can't go down more than it can go up. Of course the volume says everybody else is thinking the same thing.

BOIL's recent low is 4.34 on 2/21 and volume has recently been over 50 million per day, so why would they change what makes them more money than they've ever made before?

I've been underwater in BOIL since December, but it seems dumb to liquidate positions when BOIL is so close to zero, so I hold on. BOIL could be in a saucer formation and KOLD could be due for double-top indicator divergence, so I'm foreseeing a rally about April. In the meantime I'm selling...

I don't think I'd trade if I didn't enjoy it. There's a lot of learning curve and you've got to think it's worth doing.

It's been my opinion the last few years that dividends are mainly horsepoop. Even if a dividend amounts to something, a negative move in the stock price wipes out the value. Thus I'm a trader and not a buy-and-hold investor (except in my IRA).

I never had any luck with LEAPS. I suspect that any trader with brains hates them too.

I don't pay attention to news or fundamentals much, maybe I look at my Barchart news feed or Google if I want news about a stock, I watch Fox Business a little just for fun, Jesse Livermore said not to pay attention to stock news but he also did a lot of reading and researching.

I recall TD Ameritrade allowed lowest-level beginners to sell puts and covered calls (=the wheel) but didn't allow spreads of any type. Selling naked calls can be considered having unlimited risk, but you're bragging how put spreads limit your risk, so call spreads won't do the same? And when...

Is there a reason to stay away from call spreads? A wider bid-ask spread? More dangerous than put spreads?
