If you are paper trading, why not just use Thinkorswim OnDemand functionality? It basically allows you to replay the market. Just pick day and time and you can paper trade in real-time as if you were there. No need to wake up at 3 am

I think, a better question is what will happen to BTC price if another (Etherium?) crypto-currency becomes more attractive.

I have no doubts many made -100% of account with options. I bet a few of the volatility sellers felt quite a bit of pain today with VIX jumping almost 50% in a day.

I still see a few familiar handles on SeekingAlpha, but it is a very small fraction of what Yahoo MBs were.

Take a step back and reasses your stance. Your outlook for the position has not changed? Roll it out and, perhaps, down for puts, up for calls. You are not sure? Close it and move on. As one of the beaten-to-death adages states:"Do you want to be right or make (preserve in your case) money?"

Most likely you can still trade as long as you are not opening and closing position during the same day. I.e. not day-trading.

TOS finally added this functionality. You need to tick "Show Trades" checkbox in chart settings.
