I assume you can't trade with the trial with a transAct account yet - not that I'd try before it's officially acknowledged by transAct but curious like everyone else who's a transAct customer.
And one more try with question from my previous post : with all the similarities in the gui do u...
I've also received the mail from Transact starting
"You may have already received or will shortly receive a communication"
why, looks like they have seen this thread with this timely sending of a group-mail to all "current Traddemaven users". It is probably just me that is daft, but what...
first off, all other things equal and a clearly noticeable run of unfortunate incidents the last month, I've on the whole been a happy camper with my Transact account / trademaven front-end solution. Love the TM platform, and really no issues with Transact to speak off.
Therefor the...
how I admire posters like you, who manage to penetrate all the bs with your lucid signature style of writing - methinks you really put authors that quite frankly shouldn't be allowed to post one more dot before they master their english grammar to pre-kindergarden niveau and/or use double...
dealing direct with Transact - it was mostly the fact that they couldn't even reassure me that I was flat - their tradedesk was at least upfront about it. Apprently everything worked out with a small profit for me amid the hasty flattening I had to resolve to just as the mkt. was beginning to...
esignal is fine and Transact out of whack. According to my platform (use TM), I'm flat with a profit - but Transact can't even confirm this - apparently they're having a hell of time - and u can even still log-in and apparently trade with their delayed feeds. Doesn't look good.
Don't get what you're saying - when I enter stoplimit orders through Transact via Trademaven, it most certainly is server held orders - that is, if they're native for the exchange, i.e. stoplimit for cme/globex, stop for cbot.

don't get it. You're doing spreads over different markets. No problem with off-setting once postions in the secondary market, albeit commission but spreads are rarely applied as a high-freq. strategy.
The guidelines for the European 106 R initiative and probably also the Asian one, are such that they do indeed qualify the "single member LLC" as you call. How would you make the distinction? - at least the corporate laws here in Denmark and of-shore places that I know of, doesn't single out...

So interested in what all of you es, nq et. al traders, think about the potential for range (and trading opportunities) today Thursday, day before the employement numbers.
Here's how I see the scenario - outlined with a mentioning first of the general scenario as I see it, and then thoughts...
Ends december 2006, which has been the date the merc has been going with all the time since they changed it from October 2005 - so there's still a little more than 12 months before you're required to buy one seat or lease 2. There's a fee of usd 1,000 for entering the initiative, which when...
As the "...morning" and "...evening" sessions are juxtaposed wth me refering to increased volume, it should be clear that I'm talking about the am and pm session during rth "...as you probably know" - I'm from the continent for gods sake, so sometimes I think of the us afternoon as the evening...
a little background might help:
I'm managing a private fund for 7 years running (last 3 as manager), where we're only 5 traders including myself. Until last year we were solely focusing on european securities and fx for trading purposes, and only held us equities as longer-term investments...
Just switched to eSignal after having depended upon reuters screens and cqg all my trading career. After having spent sometime getting used to the GUI and looking/searching for stuff myself before asking here, I obviously still have a couple of questions.
Would be msot grateful for any...
and I will contribute with the notion, it might be either. "EURO FUTURES", that would indicate fx as much as fixed income. Don't berate yourself", a bam bada bam a
thanks for input anyhow, just wondering if any active es/nq traders have a good advice on an esignal add-on news feed that would cover the stuff I mentioned in my initial post

Reason I'm posting in this forum is I'm exclusively trading index-futures, mainly dax, cac, es and nq.
We're relocating, and won't have access to the Reuters terminals that I relied on before for news-feed. As my trading is intra-day based, I'm looking for a service that will provide...
