    Is the gov't an economy?

I certainty hope piezoe is being sarcastic...If markets were permitted to work how they are supposed to work (with no distortions, such as the grand minimum wage), then wage rates will change to reflect the true supply and demand of labor. This is directly correlated to PRODUCTIVITY. So, raising...

    Is the gov't an economy?

Agreed. Production is directly correlated to the labor market and wage rate. Congress and blind voters can't wrap their heads around efficiency, they think that they are throwing money right into these people's pockets.

    Is the gov't an economy?

The government is an integral part to the United State's current economic system. The equation C+I+G=Y shows how government involvement contributes to the economy and its output, subtracting out the taxes of course. C=Consumption I=Capital Investments G=Government Spending Y=Output

    Interactive Brokers Data Fees

I just opened an account with them. I guess I have the basic data bundle or at least I assumed so. When I request quotes for like F it gives me live data. Switching to Interactive Brokers

I am considering a switch to interactive brokers for a swing trading account. The per share rates are much better than deep discount retailers like Zecco (which I am currently using). As a student under 26, it says I only need 3k to open an account. And that the inactivity fees are 3 dollars a...

Swing traders: How long do you hold a stock?

A good measure for this is to use momentum. As soon as momentum starts to slow, price will follow. The 9EMA is also a good tool if you are using a momentum system.

How did Forex change so much from 2008 till now

Yeah I agree. I only trade the US market times for the EUR/USD pair. It seems to work pretty well in terms of it being more tradable.

Trading the gap at open? Who does this?

Interesting post. He seems to jump right in at the open, but I think you can wait and play with the opening range. One strategy is to pull a fibonacci extension from the first 30 minute low to the first 30 minute high. It works surprisingly well on gap down or gap up stocks due to the increased...
