65 million flats in China are vacant

I am in Chinese working in a western MNC. I am in charge of a line which has revenue of around 50 million USD a year. To be fair, corruption and cheating is common here. But we have many cases that our US distributors cheat on us too. What I mean is not just lying during negotiation but...

http://www.spiegel.de/international/europe/0,1518,676634,00.html Goldman Sachs helped the Greek government to mask the true extent of its deficit with the help of a derivatives deal that legally circumvented the EU Maastricht deficit rules. At some point the so-called cross currency swaps...

Shanghai real estate in HUGE HUGE HUGE bubble

Actually it won't happen. Very very little of the FDI is spent on real estate. The bubble is driven by local hot money. Actually if it bursts, US will be affected adversely as China will have less money to borrow to other countries.

India to overtake China in 2020

As a Chinese, I don't really care whether it will be US, India or China to be no 1 (in GDP). I just care whether my living standard will improve. If the Chinese can't move up the ladder and develop its own technology, it would still be good for US to remain strong and creative and take lead...
