Thanks for posting your excel SAR calcs. However, if you are going to use the alternate calc on the pivit point, should it not be divided by 4 and not 3. Also, doesn't most everyone just use H,L and C divided by 3?

I like that. If you use a 2% loss for your money management, then I guess you should set your stops at 4 points for the DAX. That is what i try to use, but sometimes get blown out I use the 2% rule on the DAX and/or the ES/YM. Are you suggesting that as you get more experience, you should...

E S, I agree that comish is too high if I do vol and that is part of reason why I will make a move. But for now only trading 1-2contracts, I sure like the oco. Maybe dont trust myself enough just yet to pull the triggers on my own. Thanks for your input.

Dont let all the naysayers on Elite keep you from posting. People like Fast and I are anxious to learn. Won't be doing the number of scalps you do, but can learn from you and use it to fit our on system and timeframe.

Glad to see you back online posting. Do you ever trade the DAX as well as ES? I try to trade DAX early in the morn (CST) 3-5 days per week as well as ES. Do better on ES but am learning on DAX:)

You are great. My system never gave a signal to get in at 8:43 cst. Did buy the bounce back and made 1.5. Just pure luck and hunch that would get a rebound. I would take your record anytime.:)

I live in central time zone and trade the DAX from around 530-6 in the morn. Follow (and trade) DAX even after the US mkts have opened. Also follow and trade es and dow emini after mkt opens. What have you tried?

es real choppy today. Made good trade at 101cst for 21/2 points (could have stayed in for 41/4). Other than that just chop, chop, chop. Even DAX did not trend much today. Did you see it different.:)

Are you saying that you always use 10 point stops on the Dax. That is $250 euro and almost 300 US. I am trading the Dax early in the mornings before eminis open and am having trouble seting my stops. I get blown out a lot only to have the market move in my direction. 4 point stops is not...

Good call. I did not have the courage to short after the drop at 730. Following es, dax and eym and could have made a bunch on each of them with short.

I don't think it is a dream, otherwise I would just give up. Do you trade the ES or just what? You might have said before, but if so i forgot.
