Jan was about 4 point loss. 2013 was a bad year. 2012 was a great year. It's not anti trend. It just doesn't work well in big trending days. I get steam rolled.

I think I understand what you are saying. Unfortunately that may not be able to help my setup. RE: pre-open conditions, it's different knowing the outcome and looking for an explanation before hand, than having the various explanations and looking for an outcome.

Well of course I want to move ahead. I'm just tired of the bullshit that I've always got from all the liars and pretenders. So tell me, how would I go about finding out what the conditions of the market will be like before the open (since I trade right at the open)?

What I've seen so far is two people pointing out after the fact. I can do that as well. I see absolutely zero evidence of either of what you said before the market opened. Am I wrong here? There is no ego at play. I have heard the same shit from start to finish many many times over the years...

If I could predict the condition of the market before hand based on the info above I wouldn't even need to trade my system now would I? What you are suggesting sounds like discretionary on the fly thinking rather than going in with a plan in mind and executing it.
