Request 1-minute Data for QQQ and SPY

That site does not offer QQQ and/or SPY in 1-minute format for the previous 2-3 years. For anyone interested, my offer still stands. Eel

Request 1-minute Data for QQQ and SPY

I am willing to pay ~$50 USD for 1-minute data for the previous 2-3 years of QQQ and SPY. I request *.csv or *.txt files that are comma delimited with date, time, open, high, low, close and volume. I can pay via Paypal or Paydirect via Yahoo! Eel

    Simultaneous Price Changes

I asked this question because I wanted to understand what fundamentally drives a stock¡¦s price, and was not particularly interested in that specific point only, but the entire day¡¦s price movements in general. For example, for almost every trading minute of every trading day, most tech...

    Simultaneous Price Changes

At 7:02 am PST or 32 minutes after the open, both QQQ and SPY had large increases. Does anyone know why their prices tend to move together?

    QQQ and SPY 1-minute data

Where can I get 1-minute data for equities at a reasonable price? I've been to price-data.com but they are pretty expensive and force you to purchase others included in the package for around 200 bucks. Thanks, eel

Developing a System for Maximum Efficiency

When I first heard of systems trading, I thought that it wouldn't be viable because of the dynamics of the market. When a system's optimal parameters change to a large enough extent, the system will yield different results, equal to or less than the maximum profitability of the system, which is...

    T-REX Journal

Balda What made you think that I subsribed to T-REX's newsletter? I didn't, for precicely the reason you stated: I have a 100% profitable system already, but was reading this journal to get some insight to how other members responded to them. Also, I read T-REX's journal in one sitting...

    T-REX Journal

I should have realized around page 70 that a list of consistent, daily results would not be produced, but I did learn something very valuable: Don't share your winning systems on public forums. To brag, I have a system that is 85-100% correct for ALL stocks under $5 with a beta...

    Hypothetical Question

I plan on having the Auto Trade feature for Wealth Lab Developer to trade for me automatically. The system I wrote was backtested for all available data, sometimes dating back 15 years, and still shows 100% accuracy in trades. I plan on using this system as my primary source of income...

    Hypothetical Question

Same problem here. I have a system that is 100% correct for 30% of the NASDAQ listed stocks under $5 with beta volitility over 3 for the past 5 years. Also, the other 70% that aren't 100% correct are at minimum 80% correct, which is still very viable. All stocks under this catagory had...

Services of the programmer for your best trade!!!!

    Holy Grail

ok, that didn't turn out the way i intended...it was supposed to be in a table format... anyways, let me explain. I created an algorithm that gives a 300% anualized return... the only catch is the gains are spotty (ie. occur about 4 months of the year, if at all), so it's much like hunting...

How Often Do You Change Your System

This is a question for traders that have mechanically traded (preferably by automation) a system and consistently made money. Question: 1) How long did the system work before it needed to be tweaked? 2) How long did the system work until it had to be abandoned?

    Futures with under $2000

oh yeah.. paper trading. Yeah, i had a free portfolio with Yahoo for a few years where i kept track of stocks and watched how they reacted to news, but it wasn't until I took the loss that I did a little more research into what "trading" really was. That's how I stumbled upon this site. I...

    Futures with under $2000

I didn't lose alot.. i simply lost 10% of my initial capital within the first 5 trading days because I couldn't implement my stops becaue the intraday swings were too large. This is why I want to get into futures trading. There are no pattern day trading rules when trading futures.
