Patenting a trading strategy is ridiculous! If she felt the need to do so why offer it to the public. Even drug companies have to deal with "Generic" forms that compete with them. Also, how can you patent "logic" or "math"? Anyway, if the strategy or system was that good then why sell it...

I think that's because they need time to search the harbor/tunnel for bombs etc.
