Perpetual, I spent 100K to go to school and cannot earn income.

Housing bubble was much better. At least in the housing bubble you got to live in a nice house. Now you just have a bunch of brain-dead debt slaves with nothing to show for it.

Is owning a home mostly a bad thing?

I keep hearing the argument not to buy because of all the extra costs. Costs like property taxes, interest and maintenance. The truth is when you rent you don't get out of these! The costs are simply passed to you by your landlord who is a business owner. A landlord will charge you all their...

Is owning a home mostly a bad thing?

Very interesting how many people think a home is liability. We are taught to believe that a paper share of a company ( many that pay no dividends) are assets, but an actual home that gives land and shelter is a liability.

Americans are obsolete, why Illegal Immigrants are here to stay.

I think you are absolutely right on this one. I have lots of experience with small business. When you pay low, you get what you pay for! When you pay a good wage, you also give people hopes of saving money, buying a house, maybe sending a child to college. That creates loyalty.

Americans are obsolete, why Illegal Immigrants are here to stay.

"More than work ethic, it's actually a willingness to work issue. Americans are getting accustomized to live on unemployment benefits." Exactly why do hard labor when you can sit around and collect unemployment, welfare, food stamps, housing, etc.

A peek inside the Health Care Bill

This plan is just more of government subsidizing business. It doesn't work. It only drives up prices. We have tried this in Housing, Healthcare, Education. Prices have risen, nothing has been made more affordable. What is being proposed now is is the same system with massive amounts of...

A peek inside the Health Care Bill

If anybody supports this bill, please tell me how this will bring down the cost of medical care? The issue in not about insurance when it comes to cost, it is about the cost of the underlying medical procedures.

What happens at the end of the year when 1.5 million people stop getting benefits?

I wouldn't be surprised to see Obama pass the " Keeping America on it's feet" bill and extending those benefits until 2015

Younger Gen: This will make you mad!!!!

As long as the heaviest users of health care are having their pills paid by a government that can print an unlimited amount of money, don't expect cost to go down!! Why charge 25 year old Joe Schmo $30.00 for an office visit, when I can make the price $150.00 and bill the government that...

1/4% Tax on all stock trades pushed in NY Times today

What about mutual funds that have high turnover rates and trade million of dollars worth of securities? To buy 10 Million worth of stock and then to sell 10 million, would cost $50,000. Their trading costs would go through the roof. Do you think that they are going to absorb these cost...
