they "curve" a litttle, probably the same amount as my ergotron stands curve. If you really need them curved alot the best way is to get two seperate two monitor stands.

Does Sharpe ratio take into effect intraday risk? Meaning if you lever up big intraday, make some good profits, then take your risk down significantly at the close, wont that skew your sharpe ratio to make it look better?

how big is the fund you work for? Ask for a million in BP and tell them to take all losses out of your year end bonus, but you want 35 - 50% of the profits at year end...Might be a good starting point and if you do well they give you some real money to trade.

When I say "institutional money", I am refering to Pensions, endowments, Fund of funds's. Somethink like 90% of hedgefund allocations last year went to the sizeable funds (billion +). I guess its a safety issue - complience, etc. Maybe because a majority of the new start ups dont last...

Also, I'm not trying to discourage anyone from starting up. Just pointing out the only real way to get seed capital for a fund these days is via friends and family. Unless of course you ran the prop desk at GS or have a track record at a top hedge fund.
