    ZN Quote on IB question

No we don't. This is a very specialized field with vast data quanities (there are a few hundred thousand equity options listed at any point-in-time - this rapidly becomes a universe of millions of instruments very quickly - although you are probably not interested in the vast illiquid portion...

    IQFeed Trade Conditions

@2rosy I'm not sure this is the case. OPRA "Message Types" for Last sale messages are all "mutually exclusive" (i.e. can't be A and B) but I don't do options data, so I'm not sure @arturo100 The OPRA Output Speficication might be useful here...

    Historical Data

Giving current/delayed L1/2 data (for free or otherwise) is a model. But, giving historical point-in-time versions of such is a big ask. There's not many that do this, but I think @Databento is probably one of the most accessible ones for US futures.

    IQFeed Trade Conditions

Maybe it's a simply a cross-trade? Are you over-thinking this? Why not ask IQFeed? Surely trade conditions would be well-documented and if they've changed things I'm sure they would provide further details.

Hi Overnight, On Feb 13, 2020, the OHLC of MMM was: 161.67,161.87,159.00,159.76 So your trade price was of 159.54 was fine. You're viewing an adjusted chart that appears to incorporate some corporate actions since the date you're questioning. A split+spinoff+special dividend adjusted...

    Improve my sht

You'd be better off testing using Ookla Speedtest (test via their app, not via a browser): https://www.speedtest.net/ Which make and model of router do you use? Many don't have the grunt to handle Gigabit speeds.

How do you check for market holidays (any modules)?

An easy way is to use an index symbol - eg. $SPX or $DJI. When that has data, then the market was open.

Historical S&P 500 data, dealing with old tickers, changes, etc.

@taotree This is is exactly what we offer (and the dataset you mentioned, which actually references Andreas Clenow's set, which is from us). The problem you are describing is a a point-in-time data set issue. Stocks in the S&P 500 (and other indices) vary over time as new securities are added...

Initial Public Offering: Stock that is offered to you because other people have turned it down. The guiding principle in relation to IPOs is as follows: "never participate in an IPO that you are able to participate in." More insights here: https://norgatedata.com/alternative.php

How does <brand> get outstanding shares data for Appl?

The 15.46B figure was in the DEF 14A filing 2024-01-11 and the represented the shares outstanding on 2024-01-02: https://www.sec.gov/ix?doc=/Archives/edgar/data/0000320193/000130817924000010/laapl2024_def14a.htm

    Musk blackmailing Tesla's board

Not forgotten here! (Bre-X Minerals is accessible as BXM-199705.ca in our database, with a Canadian Stocks Platinum Subscription) Interestingly, Bre-X became a S&P/TSX Composite stock in late 1996, just prior to its demise. Every type of shennanigans were involved in this stock...

    Something is wrong with Stockcharts

HeSaidSheSaid Your information is incorrect. The latest dividend for UUP is 1.745530 with ex-dividend date 2023-12-18 and payment date 2023-12-22. I think your experience doesn't work with respect to ETFs - they are quite different to stocks. ETFs are typically obliged to pay accrued...

Withholding on Publicly Traded Partnerships effective 1/1/2023

You probably needed to avoid anything that was called a "LP" = Limited Partnership (i.e. a type of PTP) It does appear to be on Tradestation's list of MLPs/PTPs, but it's terrible they didn't warn you: https://uploads.tradestation.com/uploads/MLP-PTP-Securities.pdf

    Bankruptcy filings reaching multi-year highs....

I think the more interesting (perhaps leading) metric might be the number of major-exchange-listed securities that have performed reverse splits in order to keep themselves listed (at least on US exchanges, that have a $1 stock price limit). I avoid stocks that have done a) Reverse Splits b)...
