I've read the three newer books. Very helpful. Didn't bother with the video course. I don't use volume. Some things he writes about didn't fully "click" until after I had back-tested ideas and saw the connection for myself.

NinjaTrader’s strategy builder is fantastic if you can’t code. There are workarounds for a lot of things people say it can’t do. I see you like to trade stocks, but you might find testing your ideas on NQ using strategy builder (or some other similar program) helpful in figuring out an approach...

You're trying to reinvent the wheel without a base understanding of how it works/moves. Why do you not trust traditional basic often repeated ideas? Is the distrust backed by data you yourself have collected & tested...or because you're listening to people on a forum where most think everything...

The difference in price is probably due to @Concinnity having a market data setting selected where offset values are used to back adjust historical price data to match the next front month. If he's using Ninjatrader he probably has "Merge back adjusted" selected instead of "Merge non back...

Third chart goes up to 2016…or simple math sez not even 8 full years ago. Hardly deliberately misleading or irrelevant. They’re data points regarding temperature over much longer than 74 years.
