my wife just got a sweet gig in naples. moving from chicago to FL. does anyone know of any firms in or near the area where I could apply for a trading position? or any solo acts looking to take on a new guy? i know there are some equity firms down there (Echotrade, e-trade, etc.)...

i could be. what difference does it make. its a reputable firm. i was just curious to any insight that someone who is already (or had been) working in the business has to offer.

i will be going in for a final interview where this firm will "make their offer". i was wondering what i should look for and what questions i should ask, before i sign on the dotted line.

just thought that i would ask to see if anyone else invests in any types of these funds. i think they are becoming more and more popular. i have been in one for about 3 years and the returns have been excellent. about 30% per year. this fund does option spreads. i'm not talking hedge funds...

yeah. dont look on this site. seriously though there are tons of prop shops that will take you and some capital. there is an echotrade office right down town.
