Those are great...i have never heard of knowbias before. Looks very interesting with the real-time news and they seem to focus on small caps too. Plus the news filter could be extremely useful. I am quite surprise the WSJ covers such small companies too....that is good to know. Quick...

I am sorry if this has been mentioned already...but isn't the most obvious and clear case of zero sum in the stock market, when you short sell a stock? Then you have two sides to the transaction and what the shorter makes the buyer (from him as a new buyer) loses. Conversely, what the buyer...

Yeah, that is kind of what i had thought as well Rufus...i don't know too much about it though. Would the 100+ RTs be on a single security as well? For the market making algo's i could definitely see that...but i know less about the stat arb's and what sort of relationships they are trading...

I think it really depends a lot on what type of HF system is employed. But some of the inter-listed stock arb based system might do upwards of 500+ RTs a day, but that would be spread across a number of stocks. As far as RTs per product (security) that is tougher...for some I would still think...

Thanks Jerry:D That is great...i will probably look into DTN.IQ then...500 symbols would do initially...but at some point i would probably need more. Hmm...that is probably unique symbols for the source feeds right? So that if you had the same symbol in 2 different Quotetracker portfolio's...

Sorry to post a bit off thread...but as far as the number of quotes, does Quotetracker itself have any limits on the number of tickers? If using IQfeed, for instance, is there a ticker limit with them? I am using IB right now as well....but i will definitely need more than 100 tickers....:(
