Trailing stops are usually not a good way to stay in a trade or to maximize profit on a trade. Generally, I find that trailing stops only work when it's a strong momentum move. These happen once in a while, but certainly not always. When they do - you can squeeze out even more than initially...

Well - your defensive play seemed to work well as you were doing really well initially with consistent daily profits. Then it seems like you had a fairly large losing day which probably threw you off balance and then an even worse day today. Good luck on the next round!

Was that loss on 1 ES contract? Is not conservative the way to go with these programs considering the drawdown rules?
