Not astonishing really. I don't really know about the link between ego and money : may be money is a tool used for ego reasons. As regarding sex, it is becoming evident to me that sex/intimate relationship problems or issues are reflections of child/parents issues and the context in which a...

The psychological dynamics in trading are a bit different: How many traders have you read who go out and explain they are losing traders? May golf fanatics have no qualm saying their are not "pros". For many trading is all about EGO.

The day to day psychology of a trader

But let us always remember that we need to thank God for having created "humiliation": because humiliation can only happen to those who are not humble, right? to those who believe that idolatry toward them exist or should exist. To those who feel upset when people say to them " not interested in...

Point 1: "gladitorial combat" : who would you say turned this into "gladitorial combat"? It does not seem that those who asked for "evidence" did so Point2: about discouraging him : I need to think about this. Just a shame I have limited time. Have a great week-end. Take care.

Yep TopStep. There was a time where Patak was ready to allow any ET trader a free combine, as long as they agreed for a public thread on it. Quiet a lot of ET traders gave it a try, with results we know of, and the offer was dropped due to lack of "volunteers" (there were many escuses). I...

The day to day psychology of a trader

Very great video indeed ! This is the huge benefit of trading : sooner or later, most traders pass via the steps "motivational speeches", "www.dhamma.org" ( if one wants to get results quickly in terms of meditational benefits), "LOA", etc... till "don't care" ( aka non-attachement) and...

    When Indicators Don't Lag

Thanks for the precisions. I actually spent some time reflecting on the time you spent within an intraday trade.:) As one would expect high win rate, and low risk:reward. However, this last assumption does not include time frame , or length of time a winning trade is held. ;)
