Ackman is so full of it!

Incredibly mis-timed statement....as now that the board is out of ammunition to gun the shorts....he is finally "right" !!! That HLF board was out to get him from the get-go.

    Modern Trader Magazine

Hmmm....sounds like something that would be valuable....a website that lists and ranks the relevant trading blogs and sites.

    Modern Trader Magazine

Oh yeah.....there were some great articles in Trader....about the individuals, not the techniques.

    Modern Trader Magazine

I've seen some references in these forums, but I'd like to hear directly from subscribers. Any value here ? Does this replace the Commodities Magazine I used to get ?

Human Traders Are Trouncing the Machines

Interesting thought.... so the implementation is to backtest your strategy and then execute with some discretion ?

Ackman is so full of it!

Why does Ackman insist on those gigantic powerpoint slide presentations ? He did that with Herbalife as well....to no avail.

    The Best Trading Proverbs

Actually this is fallacious.....as systematic trader Keith Fitschen has proven that COUNTER-TREND trading is best for day trading.

Ackman is so full of it!

Ackman can be arrogant because he is rich....and the arrogance has cost him big-time as he refuses to acknowledge when he is wrong. Yesterday's interview with his statements about HLF does prove he is uber-smart....boy, did he know his numbers regarding HLF's debt and buy-back program...

How to develop decisiveness and quick reaction time?

This is the best post....and the point is: How does one acquire talent ? Some will "have it"....others won't.

    Classification of "professional" on IB

No, but if you are trading as a corporation or LLC, you are classified as a Professional.... which is stupid IMHO. This has got to be an SEC ruling...probably from the days of Mary Shapiro....LOL.

    MultiCharts Standard vs MultiCharts.NET

After further review, I discovered that it would require a lot of code to build trading systems with Amibroker that perform trades thru Interactive Brokers. With Multicharts, the broker interface is essentially a plug-in requiring no special code when moving from one broker to another. This is a...

    options backtester

Isn't obtaining accurate option historical price data the big issue here ? I. for one, would like the ability to back-test with true option price data or theoretical prices based on Black-Scholes and other models.

Multicharts Lifetime License For Sale (Legitimate)

Multicharts does not allow license transfers. They don't even allow you to change the email address so that upgrade and bug fixes can be sent to another user. Also no one really knows how their DRMS (Digital Rights Management System) works.....as it is likely their best kept secret...
