How to avoid Knowledge Bias in Day Trading ?

Price moves, otherwise, money cannot be made. Second “how” it moves can be as important as the fact that it moves. “Price action is probally the best indicator of PA.” The “how” is indicated by the “range” or spread of the PA. Single bar and multi-bar range. “How” is also indicated by time...

How to avoid Knowledge Bias in Day Trading ?

In your first chart i don’t see a bearish bias. True there was a BO south (big bear bars) but the last three bars were smaller and buying enters on last two small bear bars followed by bull bar with good buying indicated as tail on bottom and closed near it’s high. And a gap between it’s (bull...

    Sticking to the Plan...NOT!!!

Three dimensions to the market. Time, volume, price. Markets are being bullish, bearish, or neutral. The bias is what a trader should want to ferret out. That determines the strategy and tactics the trader will use in that particular environment. The idea is for a trader to sync his trading...

    Why Trading is so Hard

Lol i wouldn’t think optimizing to have a higher loss rate would very helpful. Certainly not the way to get there. Trading less is fine but losing more, while trading less, is generally not good. Nothing wrong with trading less and having a high win rate as long as one is not cutting profits short.

    Why Trading is so Hard

These numbers show Suze Orman is right about needing $5 million to retire

A person who dealt with and counseled terminal patients recently once said that most terminal patients accepted the fact that they were dying but where the depression overcame them was that they did not do the things in life that they really wanted to do and they felt like they had missed out.

These numbers show Suze Orman is right about needing $5 million to retire

Money doesn’t bring true happiness but it has been known to cause a smile or two along the way! Working the fingers to the bone trying to accumulate millions ..well..in the end it is not worth the energy, stress, and trouble. IMO I think trading offers a great way to make money ...as needed...

True. Just buried my 34 year old daughter last month. Such a good daughter. Never gave us any real troubles to speak of growing up. She and her husband have 3 children. She loved her family. We did all we knew to do for her, that we were able to do. Even took her to Houston to Md Anderson. No...
